Monsoon Retreat & Refresh
Interweaving Restorative Yoga and Gentle Acupuncture
Summer is naturally a time of expansion, play, joy, and creativity. Just as we rejoice when monsoon rains arrive here to cool the ery heat of Tucson in this season, our whole being needs the balance of deep, nourishing rest for our energy and hearts
to feel vitalized and inspired to celebrate this fruitful, rich time of year. The practices of Restorative Yoga and Acupuncture together allow that to occur very deeply.
Please join Marcia and Maryann for a refreshing afternoon summer retreat, offering you a 3-hour experience including a warm-up asana practice followed by a long Restorative practice that interweaves gentle Acupuncture - all designed to allow true rest, renewal, and atunement to this season.
All levels welcome, including those new to Restorative Yoga or Acupuncture!
All props will be provided; you are also welcome to bring your own. A small folded towel works great for an eye cover.
Marcia Tullous, RYT200- attended her first immersion and yoga teacher training in 2003 and has been teaching for over a decade. She is a certified Relax and Renew teacher and thoroughly enjoys sharing the practice of Restorative Yoga with all who want to learn this quiet, more passive type of practice. Marcia is known for her warm, welcome presence and teaching style. She is a firm believer in the healing benefits of yoga and in the power we have to heal ourselves by giving to ourselves what we need most, whether that's healthier food, more rest, or a good dose of laughter.
Maryann Tully, L.Ac., RYT200 is an Acupuncturist with over 30 years experience, working with many diverse populations, and a YogaOasis instructor for more than a decade. A student of meditation for many years as well, she clearly experiences over and again the benefits of all of these practices within herself, and is deeply inspired and rewarded by sharing them with others.
