YogaOasis 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training
Immerse Yourself in the Study of Yoga Join Darren Rhodes, Brigette Finley, and Sam Rice for the YogaOasis 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Learn the tenets of hatha yoga classes at YogaOasis such as intro 2 yoga, basics, restorative, and expanding classes. This program is designed to take your asana practice to a new level through in-depth study of asana, meditation, philosophy, and pranayama practices. Appropriate for students looking towards a path of teaching Hatha yoga, as well as students looking to deepen their own practice, and for personal development. This program includes a weekend of yoga philosophy study with guest teacher Will Duncan, as well as a weekend of restorative yoga study with Marcia Tullous. Completion of this program allows graduates to register with Yoga Alliance® as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 200-hour level. Faculty: Darren Rhodes, E-RYT 500, is the director of YogaOasis Studios in Tucson, AZ. Darren is featured in the yoga poster, Penchant for Practice. His book, The Yoga Resource Practice Manual, includes practice instructions for 360 poses. Darren is the founder of Yogahour and was named one of Yoga Journal's "21 Talented Young Teachers Shaping the Future of Yoga." Darren is also a faculty member of Glo. Learn more at: darrenrhodesyoga.com Brigette Finley, E-RYT 500 Brigette (Niedringhaus) Finley is the Director of Yogahour, the founder of Prenatal Yogahour and holds her E-RYT® 500 with Yoga Alliance. She co-founded Southtown Yoga in St. Louis, MO in 2007. As a householder, she is passionate about incorporating practice into her daily life as a mama. Brigette currently lives in Tucson, AZ with her husband and two children. She teaches trainings locally and nationally. Sam Rice, E-RYT 500, is a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga first and foremost. This fuels her passion for teaching. Sam is known for her diligent and detailed alignment instructions, delivered with great skill, passion, and humor, offering students the opportunity to find renewed depth in practice. Sam leads workshops, 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings both locally (Tucson, AZ) and nationally. Sam studies and works closely with Christina Sell and Darren Rhodes. She is a certified Relax and Renew teacher and thoroughly enjoys sharing the practice of Restorative Yoga with all who want to learn this quiet, more passive type of practice. Marcia is known for her warm, welcoming presence and teaching style. Will Duncan has taught throughout the world as a lecturer, meditation teacher, yoga instructor and retreat leader. In 2010 Will completed the 36 course curriculum of The Asian Classics Institute and completed a traditional 3-year meditation retreat where he engaged in silent and solitary deep practice in 2014. (Includes a $625 deposit and a $25 application fee. Does not include required reading materials.) · Payment in Full: 10% discount off $3300 tuition is available to all students if payment is made in full 2 weeks prior to the start of classes, for a total of $2970 tuition (Includes $625 deposit and $25 application fee. Does not include required reading materials). · Payment Plan: $650 is due by the first class (includes $625 deposit and $25 application fee, does not include required reading materials), with the balance to be paid in 6 additional installments in the amount of $378.57, and a final payment of $378.58, with the first additional installment due by the start of the second session (March 2, 2018) of classes. Subsequent payments must be paid in full prior to the start of each of the subsequent sessions, and paid in full by the 8th session (August 31, 2018).
