Overview - The Heart of Yoga
The YogaOasis 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training is geared towards 200-hour Yoga Alliance® Registered (or equivalent) teachers with a passion for asana and the desire to dive deeper into the study of yoga. This training is perfect for practitioners and teachers looking to deepen their personal practice in a shared community. Expect to emerge with a nuanced understanding of yourself and the vast subject of yoga. Empower your practice and teaching! This training includes a weekend of sanskrit studies and Luminous Soul Sessions with scholar Manorama, a weekend on the intersection of yoga and social justice with author Michelle C. Johnson, and a weekend of yoga philosophy with thought leader Will Duncan. The 300-Hour Program gives trainees the requirements, along with your previous 200-hour teacher training, to apply as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. The total training is 300 hours: 270 contact hours (classroom time with faculty) and a minimum of 30 non-contact hours (reading and homework).
