The Art of Alignment Articulation
WITH DARREN RHODES
|
About: The aim of this ZOOM-Shop is to help teachers cultivate greater clarity, precision, and purpose in their verbal cueing. Led by Darren Rhodes, this workshop explores how to distill each pose to its essential alignment, presenting cues in an optimal sequence that supports both understanding and embodiment. Working through 84 foundational asanas, participants will practice communicating the essence of each pose using no more than five cues, delivered in 15 seconds or less. By refining language to what is most essential, teachers can reduce cognitive overload, create a more accessible learning environment, and invite students into a deeper, more direct experience of the posture. This workshop is designed for yoga teachers who wish to sharpen their communication, strengthen their observational skills, and teach with greater economy, confidence, and impact. Rather than adding more information, we’ll explore how saying less—with greater intention—can help students experience more. **recordings available if live attendance is not possible.
