This four-week series is designed to help the practitioner strengthen and deepen their backbends. In this course, we will explore pathways towards eka pada rajakapotasana (one leg king pigeon pose) and other playful variations along the way. This course will provide you with the tools necessary to skillfully deepen your backbends. Enjoy intelligent sequencing, humor, hard work and great company.
*Being able to do eka pada rajakapotasana is not a requirement.
Sam Rice, E-RYT 500, is a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga first and foremost. This fuels her passion for teaching. Sam has been teaching yoga since 2006. She teaches classes, workshops, and teacher trainings both locally (Tucson, AZ) and nationally. Sam is known for her diligent and detailed alignment instructions, that are delivered with great skill, passion, and humor, offering students the opportunity to find renewed depth in practice.
