Asana Series with Sam Rice
Strong Back, Open Heart; A Pathway towards Drop Backs
This four week series is designed to help the practitioner strengthen and deepen their backbends. This course will pave the pathway towards dropping back from tadasana (mountain) to urdhva dhanurasana (upward facing bow). Regardless of whether you achieve a drop back during this course, you will walk away with the tools necessary to skillfully deepen your backbends. Expect strong group practices with detailed alignment.
Pre-requisties for this course:
Pushing up into urdhva dhanurasana (upward facing bow) with straight arms, an open mind, and respect to the boundaries of your body.
