About Body, Mind and Birth:
This prenatal series is designed specifically for pregnant individuals to cultivate strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and community in preparation for birth. By combining yoga, strength exercises, breathwork, and meditation, participants will gain tools to ease common pregnancy discomforts, increase mindfulness for birth, and form supportive bonds with other expectant parents. Each class will be unique, adapting to the needs of the group, while fostering both physical and emotional well-being. Birth partners are warmly invited to join the final class, where we will focus on discussing and practicing essential birth support techniques. About Jessica Luse: I take great refuge in the community that the practice of yoga cultivates. I have seen time and time again how coming together with intention can help shine a brighter light onto our everyday lives. I've completed over 900 hours of formal yoga education in India, Australia and the United States. I spent 3 years living and working within creative communities abroad where I realized that the practice of yoga provides an opportunity for tapping into expression and deeper awareness. My classes offer a supportive, welcoming environment to practice paying attention and getting compassionately curious. I try to infuse my classes with both playfulness and precision.
