An activation breathwork session followed by a gentle Yoga Nidra practice This practice is designed to support your inner healing journey by creating space to release what you may be holding onto and inviting deep, restorative rest for your body, mind, and spirit. The breathing portion of class is meant to be activating by controlling and quickening your breath to tap into your subconscious mind. This supports the natural inner healing process and helps release stagnant energy to make room for what is ready to come forward. It’s a powerful approach to self-exploration and personal empowerment. Each person uses their breath and the music in the room to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness to increase self awareness. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation and relaxation practice that brings you into a state between wakefulness and sleep. It involves lying down in a comfortable position while being led through a meditation that focuses on body awareness, breathing techniques and deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra is often referred to as “yogic sleep.” In this session, we’ll begin with an activation breathing practice to awaken the body, mind and subconscious followed by a deep, restorative meditation for rest and integration. This class is designed to support nervous system regulation through a blend of energizing and restful techniques—helping you release what no longer serves you and reconnect with a sense of deep rejuvenation. **Note: this technique can potentially evoke intense physical and emotional changes. Therefore if you are experiencing any of the following conditions, this practice is not recommended: cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, recent injury or surgery, panic attacks or psychosis, seizures, aneurysms or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Also, please be sure to arrive with a mostly empty stomach and be well hydrated the day of the session.** About Bre Emmert: Bre is an E-RYT 500hr yoga teacher and has been teaching since 2012. Yoga and breathwork have been a way for her to connect with herself on an emotional, mental and spiritual level. Bre also is a certified health coach, a Reiki level 2 and has studied neuro-linguistic programming. She is most passionate about energetics and personal expansion. Her goal is to hold a safe space for students to go deep and explore the depths of their soul. |
