A Yoga chair can be a huge support and learning tool for your yoga practice. Utilizing a yoga chair can help you learn about where your body is in space while also supporting, opening and strengthening your practice.
The main focus of this intermediate series will be backbending postures. This series will give you the tools necessary to work with a yoga chair in your home practice to help deepen and strengthen your backbends. Expect strong asana with and without prop work. Come ready to playfully work hard.

Sam Rice, E-RYT 500, is a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga first and foremost. This fuels her passion for teaching. Sam has been teaching yoga since 2006. She teaches classes, workshops, and teacher trainings both locally (Tucson, AZ) and nationally. Sam is known for her diligent and detailed alignment instructions, that are delivered with great skill, passion, and humor, offering students the opportunity to find renewed depth in practice.
