Deep Winter Rest
Restorative Yoga Enhanced by Gentle Acupuncture
In the increasingly fast-paced, technological world we inhabit, the teachings from the natural world offered to us about how to be in the Winter season can easily by ignored. At this time, Mother Nature is quietly conserving and storing her energy and resources. Balancing our own well-being by consciously entering a restorative yoga practice will help to prepare us for true rebirth, inspiration, and palpable growth when Spring arrives.
In this afternoon retreat at the peaceful YO east studio, your complete comfort and sufficient warmth, in an atmosphere of stillness, will be our priority. Gentle movement will precede the longer held restorative reclining poses, allowing for a gradual deepening and surrender into rest. A very simple winter season Acupuncture treatment for each participant will be woven into this experience.
All levels welcome, including those new to Restorative Yoga or Acupuncture!
