An In-Person Workshop
with STEPHANI LINDSEY
“Devote” = To give all or a large part of one's time or resources to (a person, activity, or cause).
To what do you offer your energy, your time, your resources on a regular basis? To what do you dedicate yourself every day? When I look at my day and my time like this it makes me at least open to shifting my priorities, if not willing to apply myself toward that which is beneficial today. Practice is tricky— sometimes openness to it is all you need, other times it seems to demand focused, intentional, forceful effort.
An important question is: Where is my mind and heart in the process? Am I devoting my time to something while wishing it was something else? Or wishing it were over sooner? And am I dwelling on resentments, past hurts, and other negativities? To devote yourself is to offer all of yourself in the moment.
Through yoga, meaning to unite all parts of ourselves, we can learn to harness the potent power of even our seeming “defects” and channel it toward our goal. Especially when not acted upon, our urges are simply that, potential power! How we CHOOSE to use that power is up to us!
Dedicate yourself to greater strength, flexibility, gracefulness, and if nothing else, a little more self- knowledge. In this 2-day workshop, join Stephani Lindsey as she guides you through creative sequencing, helpful alignment, and thoughtful insights about devotion.
