About Join two respected, down-to-earth teachers for a weekend of intelligent, approachable asana. Christina Sell and Darren Rhodes team up to offer this annual intensive every January in Tucson, and 2027 is no exception! Theme Overview Hatha sans Hyperbole Got a gripe with hype? This weekend might be just right. Darren will teach in the spirit of how he taught back in the day: His alignment hocus focus was similar to vague is vogue. Though this time around, the work will be made more accessible through clear stages and progressive options. Christina will do what Christina does, in the way only Christina can: intelligent, direct, skillful, and entirely her own. What should you expect? Maybe not too much. As the Bhagavad Gita reminds us: "All these activities must be performed without expectation of results. This, O Arjuna, is My definite and supreme conclusion." That may be especially good advice here, because Darren and Christina themselves have only a partial idea of what will happen when their approaches, personalities, and many years of practice come together in the same room. And, really, that’s part of the point. Come practice, pay attention, work hard, laugh a little, and see what emerges. That’s pretty much how it’s been from the yo-get-go!
