This acrobatics-inspired series introduces a linear progression of drills and techniques to build a strong foundation for an inversions practice. As we move up the pyramid, you'll learn techniques to build strength, agility and endurance in headstand, forearm-stand and handstand… and learn progressions to continuously refine your inversions practice!
Regardless of prior experience, students can use this method to accelerate their progress towards free-balancing inversions. The progression is designed to give you the tools to train at your current level of proficiency.
Prerequisite: Students must be able to hold handstand for 15 seconds at the wall. Students are encouraged to attend this series consecutively to get the most benefit.
Adam Rinder is a Senior AcroYoga teacher who has traveled extensively sharing the practice. He has been featured as a presenter at Wanderlust Festivals and the Yoga Journal Conference. He offers these practices as a gateway to the heart, to reveal our true nature and deeper sense of purpose, and to facilitate personal transformation with the support of community.
