Reflect, Rest, & Renew
The Alchemy of Journaling, Restorative Yoga, & Gentle Acupuncture
Renew = to make like new: restore to freshness, vigor, or perfection.
There are a multitude of ways in which our energy gets sapped and our minds scattered - from the daily demands of life, to news, social media, endless to-do lists, and long, hot summer days. In order to maintain a sense of equilibrium and well being, we need to allow ourselves time to step back, take a break and rest.
Taking time out to nourish and replenish ourselves is a practice. And it’s a practice worth tending to and getting good at for longevity’s sake. Just as we know to eat when we are hungry, to drink when we are thirsty, we need to learn to rest and get quiet when we are tired.
Please take this opportunity to join Marcia and Maryann for this restshop that will include an easeful warmup practice,a taste of journaling, Restorative yoga poses, and simple, gentle Acupuncture ~ to help you drop inward, renew, and replenish yourself.
Please bring a pen, a journal, and an eye pillow or hand towel to cover the eyes.
All levels welcome, including those new to Restorative Yoga or Acupuncture!
Marcia Tullous, RYT200- attended her first immersion and yoga teacher training in 2003 and has been teaching for over a decade. She is a certified Relax and Renew teacher and thoroughly enjoys sharing the practice of Restorative Yoga with all who want to learn this quiet, more passive type of practice. Marcia is known for her warm, welcome presence and teaching style. She is a firm believer in the healing benefits of yoga and in the power we have to heal ourselves by giving to ourselves what we need most, whether that's healthier food, more rest, or a good dose of laughter.
Maryann Tully, L.Ac., RYT200 has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for 30 years and has incorporated Acutonics into her treatments for more than a decade. She has been a YogaOasis instructor for 15 years. The wisdom and power of these ancient healing arts/sciences is her great joy to share.
