Rest in Gratitude
Interweaving Restorative Yoga and Sound Healing
Mother Nature in the fall turns us closer to our loved ones, our communities, and inward to ourselves, as the hours of darkness grow. In our times now on earth and in this season, the need for deep, nourishing rest is not always recognized. Take this precious opportunity before the holiday season begins to experience the healing and revitalizing effects of Restorative Yoga. From a state of true rest, all that we are grateful for can more easily arise in our awareness and fill our hearts.
The Acutonics system of Sound Healing incorporates primarily tuning forks - held over the body or placed on vital energy meridians, to encourage relaxation, mind clearing, and energy balancing. In this 3 hour retreat, you will be guided into long held restful Yoga poses as well as receive the experience of Acutonics.
All levels welcome, including those new to Restorative Yoga or Acutonics!
All props will be provided; you are also welcome to bring your own. A small folded towel works great for an eye cover.
Marcia Tullous, RYT200- attended her first immersion and yoga teacher training in 2003 and has been teaching for over a decade. She is a certified Relax and Renew teacher and thoroughly enjoys sharing the practice of Restorative Yoga with all who want to learn this quiet, more passive type of practice. Marcia is known for her warm, welcome presence and teaching style. She is a firm believer in the healing benefits of yoga and in the power we have to heal ourselves by giving to ourselves what we need most, whether that's healthier food, more rest, or a good dose of laughter.
Maryann Tully, L.Ac., RYT200 has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for 30 years and has incorporated Acutonics into her treatments for more than a decade. She has been a YogaOasis instructor for 15 years. The wisdom and power of these ancient healing arts/sciences is her great joy to share.
