JOIN SAM RICE LIVE ON ZOOM! November 17, 24; December 1, 8 Join Sam online via Zoom for a virtual group practice experience - asana focus = hip openings arm balances! Please join Sam Rice for this 4-week intermediate Asana series with a focus on hip opening and arm balancing postures. What is required to do an arm balance is so much more than arm strength. Depending on the type of arm balance, it can be extremely beneficial to open your hips to make the shapes more accessible. Also, intricate and nuanced strengthening actions can help the poses become light and buoyant. In this series, we will explore and break down the component parts of some arm balance postures. Expect strong asana work. Come ready to playfully work hard. Sam Rice, E-RYT 500, is a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga first and foremost. This fuels her passion for teaching.
