Spring Equinox Sadhana: Yoga & Ritual Practice
In Person with GABY COLLETTA
|
About this Workshop Join Gaby Colletta for a 2 hour ritual flow and meditation to honor the portal of Spring Equinox. We gather to celebrate the shift in season and welcome rebirth, renewal and growth. The equinox marks the moment when day and night are equal in length and life re-awakens after the winter months of deep rest and dormancy. As we move into spring, also known as Kapha season in Ayurveda, we invite practices that help clear and detox, release stagnant energy and invite the emergence of renewed life. Our collective “Sadhana” or spiritual practice will include a blend of subtle bodywork such as pranayama breathing, yoga asana, kriya, mantra, mudra and more. Expect an invigorating flow including twists, inversions and heart openers to increase your energy, clear congestion and help the body digest. Our practice will culminate in an extended yoga nidra meditation for relaxation and manifestation, accompanied by the healing vibrations of singing bowls. Consider this an invitation to nourish yourself through personal ritual, embodied movement and intention. Come as you are - in devotion, curiosity or re-inspired wonder. What to expect:
Bring a journal, something to write with and a yoga mat. Wear comfortable clothes for yoga practice.
