About Ms Devon:

About 18 years ago a really good friend introduced  me to Yoga Oasis and I was instantly hooked. At 1st it stuck to me like my cup of coffee. I just had to have it every morning and maybe 2 times a day. Till  my back injury  I felt defeated and powerless in my own body thinking I could never get back to that must have cup of coffee that brought me such joy.. With healing  and the knowledge gained through teacher training I  gained respect for the power of yoga and what it brought to my everyday life. With an open mind, I was in love with the idea  of bringing 2 passions together, teaching children and the power of practice. With this being said I'm excited to teach and bring a playful,fun practice to the studio.

  • Certified 200hr yoga instructor
  • Trained Behavioral therapist for autistic children
  • Paraprofessional certified 
  • Deaf/Blind Intervenor specialist
  • Instructional teacher for kids with multiple disabilities, Blind and Deaf pre K -12th grade
  • Training in Occupational and Physical therapy skills
  • Worked in schools and preschools for 20 years
  • Preschool teaching experience 5+ years
  • Swim coach for 8 years focusing on safety, competitive, aerobics, and basic skills
