The Beauty of Thresholds: Working with Change
with MARY ANGELON YOUNG

The Beauty of Thresholds: Working with Change What are the thresholds of your life in 2025? The ancient holy days of Imbolc, celebrated in early February each year, are a time of renewal dedicated to the Celtic goddess Brigit, who bestows fire, creativity, poetry, wisdom and healing. In a lively afternoon of self-discovery, join Mary Angelon and friends to take a mythopoetic lens to the story of Brigit’s wisdom and explore how the transformational energies of change, loss, inner healing and new beginnings are moving in our lives. Bring paper and pens (and color pens, if you like). Mary Angelon Young is a keeper of stories and sacred songs, a traveler, writer, and grandmother whose journey has led through decades of practice and study on the tantric/bhakti path of the Bauls, the heretical poet-bards of Bengal. The author of twelve books of nonfiction and four of historical fiction/fantasy, Mary has a master’s degree in transpersonal psychology and was formally trained in Jungian studies. Her years of extensive travel on pilgrimage to sacred sites in India and Celtic Europe—along with a deep love of myth and symbols—enrich her workshops and public talks with the rasa (nectar) of divine moods. Mary Angelon continues to write and teach from her off-grid home in the high desert mountains of Arizona. |
