ABOUT Saturday March 29th (all same details otherwise Yin Yoga Anatomy: Twisted Roots & Cat Tails A Functional Analysis of a Yin Practice: A brief lecture on Yin Yoga twisting to understand why we should do it and the general approach. An interactive exploration of skeletal variations using fake bones and real bones (yours and some slides) to contemplate how each individual should execute it. And a deep and quiet practice of Yin Yoga to complete the interactive study. Precise alignment is a hot topic among Yoga Teachers. However, the way to safe and effective posture and movement is written in the bones of the individual. Anatomical structure is unique to each Yogi; therefore, alignment is infinite in its possibilities. A yoga guide and teacher trainer for 25 years, Joe Barnett will share the wisdom of his anatomy teachers and yoga mentors blended with his own method of interactive anatomical study. This workshop offers practitioners the tools to navigate the mind and body through the infinite possibilities and the analytic skills to help guide oneself and others into their own unique Alignment. About Joe Barnett: Joe Barnett, ERYT-500, has been teaching for nearly two decades and has certifications in Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Acro Yoga.
