ABOUT: Join Janet and Neti for a two-part series exploring yoga philosophy! Based on the book Yamas and Niyamas by Deborah Adele, this series will include asana practice, discussion, meditation, and restorative poses in a community setting. Please bring a yoga mat, journal and pen, and wear comfortable clothing and layers. Purchasing and bringing the book are optional and not required. About Janet: I discovered yoga in my late teens and what began as a physical practice to escape evolved into a spiritual discipline, with my mat becoming a sacred refuge. I began teaching in 2015 and I aim to create space for others to explore yoga's transformative power with some laughter along the way. About Neti: Neti is a yoga teacher and lifelong learner based in Tucson, Arizona. Neti is a first-generation Indian-American, and feels passionate about connecting her Indian heritage and Hindu roots with her yoga practice in western culture.
