Overview 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training
The YogaOasis 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training is geared towards 200-hour Yoga Alliance® Registered (or equivalent) teachers with a passion for asana and the desire to dive deeper into the study of yoga. This training is perfect for practitioners and teachers looking to deepen their personal practice in a shared community. Expect to emerge with a nuanced understanding of yourself and the vast subject of yoga. Empower your practice and teaching!
The 300-Hour Program gives trainees the requirements, along with your previous 200-hour teacher training, to apply as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. The total training is 300 hours: 270 contact hours (classroom time with faculty) and a minimum of 30 non-contact hours (reading and homework). The program is a longer, richer, and deeper study of topics you may have been introduced to in your initial 200-hour program.

Mackie Osborne (she/her), E-RYT 500, YACEP: Hi, my name is Mackie. I love dogs, yoga, food, and art and I love to study. I’m a somanaut, a dedicated and persistent explorer of the mystery and magic of human embodiment. The path of yoga, from the physical practice to the philosophical context that informs the practice is my passion. I believe yoga is more than just an exercise, it’s a profound spiritual exploration and a design for living. My classes emphasize alignment and breath based movement and are designed to build strength as well as flexibility. I strive to make my classes fun, challenging, practical, and accessible to anyone looking to create transformation in their lives, whether their desire is to open their hearts or their hamstrings. I believe that the end result of either intention brings us closer to achieving both.

Mary Angelon Young is a keeper of stories and sacred songs, a traveler, writer, and grandmother whose journey has led through decades of practice and study on the tantric/bhakti path of the Bauls, the heretical poet-bards of Bengal. The author of twelve books of nonfiction and four of historical fiction/fantasy, Mary has a master’s degree in transpersonal psychology and was formally trained in Jungian studies. Her years of extensive travel on pilgrimage to sacred sites in India and Celtic Europe—along with a deep love of myth and symbols—imbue her workshops and public talks with the rasa (nectar) of divine moods. Mary Angelon continues to write and teach from her off-grid home in the high desert mountains of Arizona.
All applicants must have completed a 200-Hour yoga teacher training program that meets the requirements of Yoga Alliance.
