About Navigating Your Fascia - An Exploration of Therapeutic Process With Laura Shriver “Life does not come from events, but from us. Everything that happens outside has already been. Therefore, whoever considers the event from the outside always sees only that it already was, and that it is always the same. But whoever looks inside, knows that everything is new.” –C. G. Jung This workshop offers an opportunity to explore muscular and neurological plasticity. Using therapeutic techniques like myofascial trigger, myofascial release, and sports medicine we will enter into a deep exploration of unconscious and conscious body patterning. Through these different therapeutic methods new perspectives can offer more options for alleviating pain, and unlocking agency in athletic performance, yoga, daily living and while working with injuries and traumas. In unlocking the mystery of the past from a somatic and experiential perspective we can often move forward with more ease, flexibility, strength, compassion, and wisdom. Like a tree we can fertilize our roots, and nourish our entire system by exploring the language of the body and using the power of our neuromuscular system and fascia to adapt, respond and heal.
