Yoga Practice As Nourishment - Fall Series
A Monthly Early Morning Practice at YO East
In Person Class with MARYANN TULLY
|
ABOUT: Greet your Sunday morning with a feeling of self kindness, with receptivity - We will enter into the practices of meditation, gentle reclining movements to unwind stress & bodily tensions, and Yoga Asanas, as clear pathways to deep nourishment. What in your life do you find most nourishing? Yoga, when practiced in a slower rhythm and in attunement to breath; with attention to feelings, the tone of our thoughts, and subtler bodily sensations, invites us into palpable moments of inner fulfillment and the potency of stillness. Autumn’s wind blows
And falling leaves fill the air when they fall they come to rest No place but here. ~ Zen Poem Maryann Tully, RYT200 discovered her most treasured inner companions of Yoga and Meditation when in college. Her studies to instruct Hatha Yoga began in 1981 in the Siddha Yoga Ashram, and culminated in trainings/certification through YogaOasis with Darren Rhodes, Chris Coniaris, and Cristina Sell. Since 7 years ago she has become deeply moved, inspired by the system of Prajna Yoga in classes/trainings with creators/founders Tias & Surya Little, and Prajna Yoga teacher Djuna Devereau. My gratitude is always offered to all of my gifted teachers. |
